"Sitä kuusta kuuleminen, jonka juurella asunto," goes a Finnish proverb.
Literally translated it says: "One must listen to the tree under which one’s home is located." I suppose transposed into life’s realities, it
means that one needs to conform to the conventions and requirements of one’s environment. That has been a lesson well learned, with intriguing
chapters written all over the world. Most of all, the rich variety
offered by each place has added to the total sum of a life that has been
blessed, indeed.
